Excel Refresh Data : The Column Wasn't Found - Data Source FIx
I have a spreadsheet which a data is linked to Google Sheet, after 3 month I try to update the data (refresh the data source) and got an error sayaing "The Column (column name) Wasn't found". After minutes of looking for the answer turn out it was an easy fix. The problem is the google sheet permission itself. What you need to make sure the sheet is set to " Shared with everyone". That's it! The problem, However sharing with everyone could be risky since everyone could change the original value. In my case, I published the sheet as csv first, then use the link to link with excel power query. This way users can only see the csv version of the sheet and unable to change any values.
